Privacy Policy

Takeroom helps you write, produce and approve videos. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it for us, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect

• Account details from the sign-in provider you choose (Google, Okta or Microsoft): your name, email address and profile picture.
• What you create: briefs, scripts, projects, brand kits, comments, approvals and exported videos.
• Files you upload, such as logos, images, video clips and audio.
• If you clone your voice: your consent recording and its transcript, kept privately as proof that you agreed. The cloned voice is created with our voice provider and is deleted there when you remove it.
• Security records: sign-in events and an audit log of actions in your workspace, plus your IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To run the service: generate scripts, narration, captions and visuals, render your videos, and share them with your workspace.
• To keep it secure: prevent abuse, enforce limits, and keep a tamper-evident record of approvals and exports.
• To support you when you contact us.

We do not use your content to train AI models.

Who processes it for us

We share data only with the providers needed to run Takeroom, and only what each one needs:

• Oracle Cloud (application hosting), Neon (database) and Cloudflare R2 (file storage).
• Anthropic (script writing), ElevenLabs (narration, transcription and voice cloning) and OpenAI (AI-generated images), when you use those features.
• Pixabay and Pexels (stock footage searches; only the search terms are sent).
• Google, Okta or Microsoft (sign-in).

How long we keep it

We keep your account and content while your account is active. When you delete content or ask us to delete your account, we remove it from our systems within 30 days, except security and audit records we must keep to protect the service.

Your choices and rights

• Remove a cloned voice at any time from the Voices page.
• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing us.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. Contact us and we will help.

Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Files are stored privately and served only to signed-in members of your workspace. Access is limited by role, and sign-in is invite-only during the beta.

Children

Takeroom is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we make material changes, we will update this page and tell signed-in users.
